Week 2 AFC West Player Prop Bets to Consider

KC Chiefs at the Baltimore Ravens- Over/Under 54.5 -Chiefs are a -3.5 Road Favorite

  • Clyde Edwards-Helaire Over 17.5 Receiving yards (-115)

Edwards-Helaire is rarely used as a prototypical RB1. This is in large part to the Chiefs high powered offense that crushes through the air. However Edwards-Helaire holds a ridiculous 95 percent usage rate. This means he’s an every down back that rarely comes off the field. Considering the high game total and implied game script, feel confident about this player prop hitting. Edwards-Helaire is coming of a three catches for 29 yards in the Chiefs game against Cleveland. Their Week 2 opponent the Baltimore Ravens gave up six catches for 65 yards to the Raiders running backs on Monday night.

Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Chargers- Over/Under 55 -Chargers are a -3 point Home Favorite

  • Mike Williams Over 56.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Mike Williams has stepped into a featured role in the Chargers offense. Williams has assumed a similar role in new offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi play calling scheme as Michael Thomas on the New Orleans Saints. In other words, Williams is playing a ton in the slot and if you remember the Saints passing attack over the last few years you know how much they peppered Thomas with targets. Fresh off an eight catches for 82 yard, it’ll be difficult for Williams to not crush this prop.

Las Vegas Raiders at the Pittsburgh Steelers-Over/Under 46.5 – Steelers are a -6.5 Home Favorite

  • Kenyon Drake Over 2.5 Receptions (-115)

Drake is coming off an impressive five receptions for 59 yard performance. This player prop comes down to two factors. First running back Josh Jacobs has already been ruled out of this game. Secondly, the Steelers are going to be committed to stopping Darren Waller by any means necessary. It’s reasonable to expect  quick passes as an extension of the run game will be available to Drake and will have an increased role in this week’s game plan.
