- Magic are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight-up loss
- Nuggets are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall
- Over is 8-2 in Nuggets last 10 home games vs. a team with a losing road record
- Magic are 0-3-1 ATS in the last 4 meetings in Denver.
With the Magic’s moves during the trade deadline and their myriad of injuries, they are a team scrambling to find any resemblance of structure. In their most recent loss to the Utah Jazz last night, they gave up 137 points while only putting up 97 themselves. They went 2-23 on 3 pointers in that same game while also shooting only 36.8% in total field goal percentage.
The Nuggets on the other hand, are in the midsts of an impressive winning streak. In fact, they have the opportunity here to make a statement to the league and the Jazz that they are just as deadly. With MPJ and Murray shooting lights out in recent games, as well as the addition of Gordon, what has been hoped for years is finally seeming to become reality. If the Nuggets continue to capitalize, they could even drastically change their chances in the playoffs by improving their seeding.
This is a massive spread for the Nuggets to try and cover, but they are coming into this one with two full days of rest while the Magic hobble into town following last night’s beatdown in Utah.
Happy betting, folks!
