It’s been a depressing go around for members of Nuggets nation as it was announced that guard Jamal Murray suffered a torn ACL at the very end of Monday night’s pitiful loss against the Golden State Warriors.
The injury came during Murray’s first game back after a handful of rest days due to knee soreness. Murray finished with 17 points as the Nuggets fell to the Warriors 116-107 Monday night.
Murray is now out indefinitely and will not return to the court for the Nuggets’ impending playoff push, which has caused some serious movement in the betting world. Prior to the injury, most books had the Nuggets at 16/1 odds to win the NBA Finals and 8/1 to win the Western Conference.
Murray’s injury has changed everything as you can now find the Nuggets odds to win the Finals at 100/1 and 50/1 to win the Western Conference via our friends at SuperBook Sports.

This truly sucks for our local guys. Jamal is an absolute beast of a player and was gearing up for another superb playoff run. This really sucks, especially with the playoffs right on the horizon.
On the bright side, Nikola Jokic is still the clear frontrunner with the MVP award at -225 odds. The weight of the world rests on the Serbians shoulders from here on out.
