Last night’s game against Detroit got a little close for comfort if you ask me, but in the end, Denver got the 15-point win, and now look ahead to the San Antonio Spurs, tonight at 7 p.m. MST.

Let’s be honest, as nice as that win against Detroit was, Denver didn’t cover themselves in glory down the stretch. San Antonio is a much better team who are fighting for a playoff berth. The only hope for Detroit right now seems to be winning that lottery pick come the end of the season. Three wins in their last six against the Kings, Cavs, and Bulls who are… eh.
The Denver Nuggets remain hot with another win and are hot on the trail of the Clippers in 3rd place in the West. Any team coached by Pop is going to be tough, the recipe for Denver should be to take care of the ball and keep the ball moving on offense, against a middle-of-the-pack defense (18th in points allowed). Do this against a team who ranks 29th in rebounds allowed, that should be enough to get another win. For that reason, look for Aaron Gordon over 6.5 rebounds (had 4 last night in 23 minutes, likely to be needed more tonight). That prop, along with Will Barton over 13.5 points because he seems to still be in a good run of form are my props for the night.
Highlighted above, you’ll also note that the over for the game should be solid, being that the Nuggets average 116.7 per game and in the Spurs’ last 6, they are averaging just shy of 120 ppg, a solid combination any way you slice it.
