    • LAC ML -108
  • O/U set for 220.5 trends:

  • Under is 4-0 in Nuggets last 4 road games vs. a team with a winning home record
  • Nuggets are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 1 days rest
  • Clippers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record
  • Nuggets are 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings (Against LAC)
  • Over is 4-0 in Clippers last 4 games playing on 1 days rest

The breakdown:

In their last 10 games, LAC is 7-3, with wins against the Bucks, Mavericks, and 76ers being the highlights. The win the Clippers got against the Bucks was with what is considered as their second-string, and they dominated the Bucks, clearly demonstrating their depth in offensive weapons. With Paul George out, Kawhi Leonard will be the go-to man for scoring as Aaron Gordon will face his first true defensive test in a Nuggets uniform.

On the flip side, Nikola Jokic will look to dominate what has been a fairly simple matchup in games past, against Ivica Zubac. While the over for Jokic’s points total didn’t hit last game against the 76ers, expect his points total to be near the 30’s with a high volume of touches against a favorable matchup. If there’s one prop bet to highlight, it would have to be Michael Porter Jr. over 16.5 points. In the month of March, he averaged 20.3 points and hoisted (and sank) 2.9 threes per game, and that shouldn’t change tonight.

With continued help from the supporting cast of Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr., and maybe even Aaron Gordon, this should be a tight game. If Denver’s defense can remain solid and nullify the Clippers supporting cast, Denver has a good shot. However, after watching that Bucks game, the Clippers might prove to be a bit too much tonight against this Nuggets side still bringing the additions up to speed.
