The Denver Sports Betting radio show has been rocking and rolling for the last few weeks, and Tuesday the boys welcomed a high-profile guest to the show. Colorado Rapids Executive Vice President and General Manager Padraig Smith joined the fellas on air to talk about the upcoming season, expectations, and the legalization of sports betting in Colorado.
The Rapids made the playoffs last season but were bounced in the first round. Still, there is plenty of momentum heading into this season, particularly with some of the squad’s young cats in Cole Bassett and Sam Vines.
Our very own Chase Howell is a Rapids beat reporter for The Denver Post, so be sure to stay locked in with him for your Rapids news and notes throughout the season.
The Rapids are the 50/1 longshot to win the MLS Cup, a feat the club has not accomplished since 2010.

Colorado’s season gets rolling on April 17 with a home game against FC Dallas. The Rapids will allow just under 8,000 fans to start the season, which is a step in the right direction as sports continue to return to form.
