Denver returns home after a disappointing road trip, which included losses to the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings.

Former Nugget Torrey Craig will return to Denver for the first time since departing via free agency. This should be a good game and test for the Nuggets against one of the best teams out east.

Roster Updates:

The Nuggets are a bit banged up at the moment. Gary Harris (thigh) and PJ Dozier (hamstring) have both been ruled out for Monday’s game against the Bucks. Jamal Murray (knee) and Facundo Campazzo (knee) are both listed as questionable.

Nothing to report on the Bucks injury front.

The betting lines (subject to change)

  • Nuggets +4 underdogs ATS, Bucks -4 road favorite
  • Point total opened at 229.5 and has been bet up to 232.5
  • Nuggets +145 on the Moneyline
  • Bucks -170 on the Moneyline
  • The public pretty much split ATS, slightly backing the over of 232.5.

Betting Trends from

  • Over is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings in Denver
  • Bucks are 6-14-1 ATS in the last 21 meetings in Denver
  • Bucks are 13-27-1 ATS in the last 41 meetings
  • Over is 5-0-1 in Nuggets last 6 Monday game
  • Over is 14-2 in Nuggets last 16 games playing on 1 days rest

The Skinny:

There is no question the Nuggets have what it takes to upset the Bucks at home tonight. Denver just knocked off the surging Utah Jazz roughly a week ago in a similar circumstance. I for one love the value of Denver tonight. The Bucks are no joke, but Denver does have the Joker coming off a 50-point performance in a loss. The rest of the team should be up and ready to go following their embarrassing loss to the Kings over the weekend.

The Bucks have beat some solid teams this season, but have also lost to the Lakers and Nets, two upper-echelon teams. Milwaukee has also lost to some weaker opponents like the New Orleans Pelicans and Charlotte Hornets this season. The Bucks are solid but they are beatable.

The Nuggets have yet to truly hit their stride this season, and if they start playing like we all know they can, they can absolutely hang with Milwaukee. Giannis is a freak of nature and losing Craig and being down Harris will make life difficult tonight, but the Nuggets have an ace in Jokic, who is a freak in his own right.

This game will come down to the bench and Jamal Murray. If Murray is rearing and ready to go, Denver has a chance in this one. Denver will need scoring outside of Jokic to get past Milwaukee so also keep an eye on Michael Porter Jr.
