Denver Broncos @ Carolina Panthers Betting Preview

The Denver Broncos are set to clash with the Carolina Panthers during Week 14 of the 2020 NFL season in a rematch of Super Bowl 50.

Both teams have had their fair share of struggles since playing in the big dance but will meet on the gridiron once again with kickoff set for 11 am MST.

Carolina is the -3.5 betting favorite and the total is set at 44.5, per The Action Network.

It’s worth noting the under has hit in four consecutive games for the Broncos. Additionally, the Broncos have won the last three head-to-head matchups against Carolina and covered the spread in each of those contests.

The last time Carolina defeated Denver was back on December 14, 2008.

Running back Christian McCaffrey is out for Sunday’s game which is certainly a bummer, although it should give the Broncos an edge.

Both teams sit at 4-8 this season and enter this contest following a loss in Week 13. Carolina is getting some public love with 63% of bets ATS heading in their direction. Additionally, the public is riding with the under as 57% are trending that way.

Let’s take a look at some notable betting trends and info via Covers.com:

  • Under is 4-0 in Broncos last 4 games overall
  • Under is 4-0 in Broncos last 4 games as an underdog
  • Under is 5-1 in Broncos last 6 games in Week 14
  • Panthers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games as a favorite
  • Panthers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games as a home favorite
  • Panthers are 0-4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in December

As always, good luck and happy betting!
